The winner receives the following.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$1,200 to attend the 2021 ALA Annual Conference in Chicago, IL (June 24-29, 2021)<\/li>\n<li>a commemorative plaque presented at an awards event during ALA Annual<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nominees should demonstrate achievement in <b>one or more<\/b> of the following areas.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>support for distance learning librarianship and library services (e.g., service to students and faculty, innovation, and\/or leadership)<\/li>\n<li>participation in the creation and\/or implementation of distance library programs or services of exemplary quality<\/li>\n<li>successful collaboration with faculty in support of information literacy and\/or other aspects of library instruction or services for distance students<\/li>\n<li>significant research, publication, and\/or presentations in areas related to distance learning librarianship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Submissions are due by <b>Friday, D<\/b><b>ecember 4, 2020<\/b>.
