This is a reminder that voting is open for the IACRL People’s Choice Award in Scholarly Publishing. This award gives academic and research librarians\u00a0throughout Illinois the opportunity to read and evaluate scholarly works by their peers and then vote on a favorite. It also presents\u00a0Illinois research and academic\u00a0librarians with\u00a0the opportunity to share their findings outside of a conference or other formal setting.\u00a0Voting is open to all staff members at Illinois academic and research libraries, consortia, and related organizations.<\/p>\n

To cast your ballot, please go here<\/a>.\u00a0After reviewing the criteria and reading the articles, vote for ONE<\/b> of the six entries. Please vote just once.<\/p>\n

The deadline to vote is Monday, August 31<\/b>. IACRL will announce the winners in September. There will be a first-place, second-place, and third-place recipient. (Ties for each place are acceptable.)
