Best Practices (Deadline Mon., March 16)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_MsoPlainText\">(via <span class=\"x_spelle\">Hailley<\/span> Fargo, Penn State University)<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoPlainText\">The ACRL Instruction Section Information Literacy Best Practices Committee and the ACRL FYE Discussion Group seek participants for an upcoming webinar, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/acrl\/standards\/characteristics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Characteristics of Programs of Information Literacy that Illustrate Best Practices&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoPlainText\">Does your information literacy program embody one (or more) of these seven characteristics in your first-year instruction? If so, we&#8217;d like to hear from you!<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoPlainText\">Each panelist will have ten minutes to discuss their first-year information literacy program and how it aligns with the characteristics, including practical and concrete examples. Programs can include both credit-bearing courses and distributed (non-credit bearing) library instruction.
