On Thursday, March 12, at 1:00 PM CDT<\/b>, please join the monthly discussion hosted by the ACRL STS Information Literacy committee. This month Kelee Pacion<\/b>, Biology Librarian at Princeton University Library will lead our discussion: Incorporating Wikipedia into the Sciences<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Discussion Description: In this chat, Kelee will share ideas about teaching a variety of classes on the topic of how to engage with and edit Wikipedia in the sciences.\u00a0 This includes working with the Wiki.Edu community, and teaching a credit bearing course on Applied Science Communication at Cornell University.\u00a0 The discussion will include how Kelee has transferred her idea to a new position at a Princeton University and talk about some of the issues she encountered on introducing this concept at both universities.<\/p>\n
