The grant will help someone from an underrepresented and\/or marginalized group attend the conference by providing funding for travel, registration, and accommodations at a nearby hotel. Multiple applicants may be awarded the grant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Thanks to the generosity of William &amp; Mary Libraries, we are able to increase funding to include transportation to this year&#8217;s conference, with a total reimbursement up to $1,000 per recipient.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">To be eligible to apply for the travel grant you must:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">\u200bBe working in librarianship (professional or paraprofessional), pursuing a job in librarianship, or enrolled in an ALA accredited post-graduate program.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">\u200bIdentify as a member of a racial or ethnic minority in the United States, the LGBTQ+ community, or as a person with a disability. Underrepresented and\/or marginalized groups are identified in accordance with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/advocacy\/diversity\/workforcedevelopment\/recruitmentfordiversity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">ALA&#8217;s Office for Diversity, Literacy, and Outreach recruitment resources.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b>Applications will be accepted until Monday, February 24, 2020<\/b>.
