An upcoming issue of the ILA Reporter will feature an article about “unplugged libraries” – libraries with activities and spaces that don’t require technology. This could include (but is not limited to) “mindfulness” programs, like yoga or meditation; arts & crafts; or a dedicated quiet space in your library for stress reduction or sensory issues.<\/p>\n
All who are willing to share their experiences with unplugged libraries are welcome to respond to this survey<\/a>. Rural and academic libraries are specifically sought, as well as libraries beyond the major Chicago area.\u00a0Please contact Kim Tipton<\/a>\u00a0if you have any questions.
