CARLI is planning an exciting day-long leadership symposium for mid-level leaders, “Mid-Level Leaders Symposium: CARLI’s Next Deans and Directors,” from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on September 25, 2019. \u00a0The event will feature Karen S. Goins<\/a>, executive coach, facilitator, consultant, speaker, and author. Karen will guide attendees to:<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Understand what leadership is;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Discuss leadership competencies that increase success in a library environment;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Have meaningful conversation with each other about senior leadership and upward mobility topics;<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Develop a personal plan to improve leadership competencies; and<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Have fun during the day while the group is learning!<\/p>\n Are you interested? <\/b><\/p>\n Register for the event!<\/b> Attend a conference call!
