The CARLI Preservation Committee invites you to attend two Conservation Lab Open Houses in Springfield on June 7, 2019, from 9:30am to 3:30pm at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum and the Illinois State Military Museum.<\/p>\n

Participants will learn how the two institutions preserve non-book materials including storage of their 3D artifacts and how staff at the Military Museum conserve battle flags.<\/p>\n

Registration is available to those from CARLI member libraries and is free. Due to space capacity, registration will be first come and will initially be limited:<\/p>\n

April 23 – May 5: registration is limited to 1 person per CARLI member library.<\/p>\n

May 6 – May 19: registration is limited to 2 people per CARLI member library.<\/p>\n

May 20 – May 31: if space remains, CARLI will open registration to any members on the waitlist.<\/p>\n
