{"id":18690,"date":"2026-02-19T19:14:30","date_gmt":"2026-02-19T19:14:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hsli.org\/newsletter\/?page_id=18690"},"modified":"2026-08-03T17:04:14","modified_gmt":"2026-08-03T17:04:14","slug":"conference","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.hsli.org\/newsletter\/conference\/","title":{"rendered":"2026 Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Health Science Librarians of Illinois (HSLI) is excited to announce our <strong>2026 Annual Conference,<\/strong> taking place <em>virtually<\/em>&nbsp;<strong>Tuesday, September 29\u2013Thursday, October 1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Join colleagues from across the state for engaging virtual programming, valuable networking opportunities, and continuing education credits as we celebrate our history and look ahead to the future of health sciences librarianship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are planning a meaningful and memorable conference you won\u2019t want to miss!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registration now open!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsli.org\/newsletter\/2026-conference-registration\/\">Register and pay online<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Continuing Education<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Getting Better at Everything You Do: Reflective Practice for Health Science Librarians (1.5 HR MLA CE)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Defining the Bare Minimum: Challenges in Search and Data Archiving for Systematic Reviews (1.5 hr MLA CE)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Call for Lightning Talks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each presenter will have 10 minutes to present their Lightning Talk with a small set of slides (7 slides maximum). Topics can include any area of librarianship. Incorporating this year\u2019s conference theme is appreciated but not required. Student submissions are encouraged.
