Reminder: Proposals for STEM Librarians Collaborative (Online July 21-22, Wed.-Thurs.) Due Tues., April 20

(via Jennifer Hart, University of Chicago)

The STEM Librarians Collaborative is seeking proposals for its 2021 meeting. The event will take place virtually on Wednesday, July 21, and Thursday, July 22. (Please note the date change.)

At this online conference we will be offering a mix of sessions in both presentation and interactive formats. All sessions will be on topics related to STEM librarianship and we welcome submissions by those who work in or support these fields, including librarians, informationists, vendors, and publishers.

Session Formats Offered

  • Lightning talks (~5 minutes)
  • Short Presentations (~15 minutes)
  • Roundtable discussions on a topic (~30-45 minutes)
  • Interactive How-To Sessions (~15-30 minutes)

If you are interested, please submit a description of your proposed session (no more than 500 words) and what format you would prefer via this form. Should you have an idea for a sessions format that is different from the ones listed above, please let us know via e-mail. We may match roundtable proposals with each other if more than one person submits a proposal on the same topic.

Meeting participants will have every opportunity to be fully engaged and have equal opportunities to contribute to the conference as both presenters and attendees. This means we will do everything we can to make our conference accessible to all. If you have any accommodation needs with regard to your proposal please let us know when you submit the proposal.
