Call for Mentors and Mentees: ACRL ULS “On-the-Fly” Mentoring @ ALA Midwinter 2019

(via Susan Schreiner, Pittsburg State University)

Once again, the University Library Section (ULS) Membership Committee is providing the “On-the-Fly” mentoring service during the ALA Midwinter Conference in Seattle. The service allows a mentee to talk with a mentor for a twenty minute session, on a drop-in basis. At Midwinter 2018, we had a great turnout of people wanting to be mentored but only a few mentors. Please consider sharing your time and expertise!

We are based in the Washington State Convention Center, TCC-Tahoma 3 & 4.

The service is available during the following times.

Mentors: If you can spare an hour to mentor and help newer librarians with your experience and advice please sign up at:

Whether you want to talk with a mentor or provide mentorship, we’d love for you to participate!

Mentees: If you are looking for objective input or feedback from more experienced colleagues, or seeking a convenient way to connect with other librarians, sign up to participate on-site.
