Reminder: Registration for Transforming Libraries for Graduate Students Conference Closes March 2

(via Dr. Elizabeth Shields, Kennesaw State University)

Registration is still open for “Transforming Libraries for Graduate Students”, March 22 – 23, 2018, Kennesaw GA. The Conference focuses on the ways in which academic libraries can meet the specific needs of graduate students. As universities continue to add and diversify their graduate programs, academic libraries have become increasingly responsive to the distinct needs of graduate students, considering and experimenting with specialized services, instruction programs and spaces.

The mission of the Conference is to provide the opportunity to share innovative approaches, best practices, and research on how academic libraries serve graduate students. The Conference is especially targeted toward librarians providing support to graduate students, library administrators responsible for planning and assessing library impact, library school students preparing for careers in academic libraries, and faculty interested in fostering collaboration with libraries in graduate education

Registration will close on Friday, March 2; attendance is limited to 110 in keeping with the nature of this conference as a venue for learning, networking and forming
relationships. Register at http://bit.ly/gradlibconf2018. The cost ranges from $70.00 to $90.00, depending on which options one selects.

We look forward to seeing old friends again and welcoming new participants.
